Each letter stands for:
N - Non directive
One of the unique features of this breathwork is that it’s Non-directive. Unlike almost all other forms of breathwork, the facilitator does not direct or guide your breathwork journey. It’s all guided from within your own being.
E- Empowerment
« The answers lie within .» This modality is based on the principle of Radical Self-Empowerment, of looking inside for the answer you need instead of to the outside world.
U - Unconscious blockages
Most of the things that keep us from manifesting the life that we want are stored in our unconscious. NDB workshops allow direct access to the unconscious mind where we can become aware of our unconscious blockages, outdated thinking patterns and conditionings and bring them to consciousness for healing.
R – Release
This is a modality of Release - releasing stuck emotions, bioenergetic blocks in the body, and also old thinking patterns, ideas and ways of being that were developed in childhood but are no longer serving us as adults.
O – Organic
This is an Organic process. During a NDB session there are no use of substances or anything unnatural. All you need is the healing power breath and music.

How it works
A Neurodynamic Breathwork session can be done either online via the Zoom app (about 2 hours) or in person (about 2.5 hours) as part of an individual or group workshop.
We begin with a brief introduction that gives an overview of the technique and type of experiences possible, followed by a session of about 60 minutes of breathing accompanied by powerful and evocative music. This breathing technique - deeper and faster than normal - while bathing in the sound of a music carefully chosen by me, allows you to calm the mind and access your incredible inner wisdom.
After the session, the participants have the opportunity to share their breathwork experience with the rest of the group.

What is the science behind breathwork?
Deep and rapid breathing in a breath job creates a physiological and psychological impact on the brain. Physiologically, it causes a loss of CO2. When the body compensates, the process of creating CO2 lowers the acidity of the blood so that your blood becomes more alkaline.
Decreased CO2 results in decreased O2/blood flow to certain parts of the brain, including parts of the frontal cortex that is part of what is known in neuroscience as the “default mode” network (DMN).
DMN plays a role in the creation of mental constructions, the most important of which is the Self, or Ego. When the activity in the MPD decreases significantly, the mental ego may disappear temporarily.
DMN also normally exerts an inhibitory influence on other parts of the brain, including limbic regions that involve emotion and memory. When DMN is removed, there is more activity in these areas that allows emotions and memories, including childhood trauma, to float from the unconscious to the surface of consciousness so that they can be worked on, treated and released.
In addition, during the breathing workshop, participants are invited to give themselves permission to release. This has a powerful impact on the psyche and can lead to an early experience for a participant even before transformational breathing begins.
